We’re pleased to share CryoCloud version 2.21.

This release delivers a major workflows experience update, alongside a collection of UX, performance, and reliability improvements across the platform.

🚀 New Features

Workflows experience overhaul

Workflows in CryoCloud are now more powerful, flexible, and easier to reuse across projects.

With v2.21, you can:

(1) Convert an existing job sequence into a reusable workflow, selecting which downstream jobs to include

ConvertToWorkflow

(2) Apply workflows mid-project, appending a predefined sequence of jobs to an existing job

Other workflow features:

  • Automatic input wiring with explicit strategies (automatic, manual, or keep empty)

  • Manual intervention steps, with clear warnings when user input is required

  • Workflow compatibility and recommendation logic when starting new projects

  • Configurable workflow requirements (accepted dataset and job types) to influence when workflows are recommended
  • Workflow export and import across schema versions, ensuring backwards compatibility

📘 Updated workflow documentation is available in our docs.
