We’re pleased to share release notes for CryoCloud version 2.27 to 2.29.

 

These releases introduce bundled downstream analysis for Refine3D jobs, automated report generation capabilities for workflows and reduced map loading times. 

🚀 New Features

Bundled refinement, post-processing and anisotropy analysis

Refine3D jobs now automatically run post-processing and anistropy analysis by default.

  • Automatically generates downstream analysis outputs without additional setup
  • Provides an all-in-one assessment of map quality immediately after refinement
  • Embedded visuals for 3D refinement, post-processing and anisotropy analysis are all available within a single results tab

This streamlines refinement workflows and makes evaluation of map quality more accessible.

    Automated report generation

    A new Report Generation job type has been added. 

    • Reports can now be automatically generated by adding this job type to the end of a workflow 
    • Simplifies sharing and documenting results

    Single Sign-On is now available for private environments

    Sampling Compensation Factor metric added to anisotropy analysis metrics panel in results tab

    SCF was previously shown in job card metadata but was missing from the results tab

    Further reductions in results loading times 

    Volumes in the embedded viewer load more quickly, particularly for Refine3D

    Added target validation warnings during target setup

    • Targets now require a primary reference before additional resources can be added (e.g. junk classes and masks)

    • Inconsistencies in reference pixel sizes are now flagged during target setup
