We’re pleased to share CryoCloud version 2.25 and 2.26.

These releases introduce a redesigned billing page with improved usage tracking, more embedded results visuals and new onboarding resources for automated workflows.

🚀 New Features

Anisotropy Analysis visualisation

Visual results from the Anisotropy Analysis job, such as the cFSC curve, are now available directly within the results tab.

Embedded 3D-FSC slices and cFSC plots allow quick inspection without the need to download files
Makes assessment of map quality more accessible

Redesigned Billing Page

The Billing Page has been re-worked to provide clearer insights into usage and plan details

Tabbed interface provides useful insights:

Usage tab offers simple overview of total usage and remaining quota
Resource explorer tab allows you to track consumable use over custom time periods
Invoices tab keeps all of your issued invoices in one place
Plan tab contains all relevant information related to your current plan

New onboarding materials:

A new tutorial dataset and corresponding automated workflow have been made available to all users.

Following the tutorial, users are able to run a fully automated data processing workflow on a small number of micrographs for the Cb1 receptor. The entire pipeline takes less than 2 hours and demonstrates the utility of AutoClass2D and AutoClass3D job types.

✨ Improvements

New "partial" status label for workflows

This label is given to workflows that started but did not complete, with downstream jobs that were not submitted. It does not apply to failed workflows.

Additional SCF metric added to Anisotropy Analysis job outputs

Anisotropy Analysis job now accepts an additional STAR file containing particle orientations. This is used to calculate the sampling compensation factor (SCF). The value itself is reported in job card metadata, but the plot is also accessible in the output files.
